Due to the festive season in October, Udaipur's Maharana Pratap Airport in Dabok saw a significant rise in passenger numbers and aircraft movements.
In October, a total of 129,352 passengers travelled through Maharana Pratap Airport, setting a new high for the past six months. This is a notable rise from September's 124,976 passengers, with an additional 4,376 people travelling by air in October.
Increase in Aircraft Movements
Aircraft movement at Udaipur Airport also saw a boost in October. The airport recorded 1,393 aircraft movements, compared to 1,210 in September. This increase of 183 flights highlights the growing demand for air travel during the festive season.
Winter Schedule Brings More Flights
With the start of the winter schedule from the last week of October, the number of flights has increased further. The winter schedule now offers 28 flights to 8 major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. In the previous summer schedule, there were only 17 flights to these destinations.
Future Benefits Expected
The rise in flights under the winter schedule is expected to benefit air travellers in the coming months, with more options and better connectivity for passengers flying to and from Udaipur.
