Udaipur, January 25, 2025 - Udaipur Airport has recently secured the 3rd position in the Customer Satisfaction list by the Airport Authority of India (AAI), marking a significant achievement in enhancing passenger experience. The airport, now upgraded to an APD Grade 2 station, continues to invest in various facilities to ensure the comfort and convenience of travelers. In an exciting new development, Udaipur Airport has introduced a unique initiative for passengers waiting for their flights. Following the success of the "Bal Chaupal," a life-size chessboard with large pieces has been installed at the airport for passengers to enjoy.

This initiative, aimed at making the waiting time more engaging and enjoyable, was inaugurated on Friday, January 24, 2025, by Dr. Sharad Kumar, Member (Operations) of the Airports Authority of India, during his two-day visit to Udaipur.

Improvements to Facilities and Services

The airport has made significant strides in improving its services, including cleanliness, parking, baggage delivery speed, washroom and trolley facilities, check-in process, security measures, and staff behavior. Other key features like flight information availability, Wi-Fi, food facilities, ATMs, money exchange, and shopping options further elevate the passenger experience.

Record Traffic and Growing Popularity

Udaipur Airport has seen impressive growth in passenger numbers, with a total of 14,48511 passengers and 15,221 aircraft movements in 2024. The airport continues to witness a record influx of tourists every month, solidifying its position as a key hub for domestic and international travelers. With the addition of the life-size chessboard, Udaipur Airport is raising the bar for passenger satisfaction.
