Udaipur, June 2, 2026 | (Udaipur Local News): The new Integrated Terminal Project at Udaipur Airport is scheduled for completion by September 2026. The total outlay for this project was Rs 887 Crore. This information was given in a report by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MoSPI) of the Government of India.

Three Airport Projects

As per the report, the Airports Authority of India is implementing three major projects with a combined outlay of Rs 2,874 Crore. Among them, the Udaipur Integrated Terminal project was allocated Rs 887 Crore. The Greenfield Airport Project at Bundi-Kota, valued at Rs. 1,507 Crore had received approval in August 2025. The target completion date for this project is November 2027. The third project, Domestic Passenger Terminal at Jodhpur, costing Rs 480 Crore is nearing completion.

Strengthening Infrastructure in Rajasthan 

Through 81 central projects, valued at over Rs. 2.72 Lakh Crore, Rajasthan is forging a new identity for itself, emerging as a state characterized by modern and robust infrastructure. These central projects are spread over Rajasthan Refinery, solar power transmission networks, raileway modernization, new airports and widened highways.

International Terminal at Udaipur

Earlier, in April 2026, while responding to a query from the Rajasthan MP Chunnilal Garasiya, the Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu informed on a similar completion timeline. He also indicated that discussions are underway with airlines to commence overseas operations from Udaipur. He added that the upgraded terminal at Udaipur is a part of the governments growth initiative and a broader trajectory to meet the need for enhance infrastructure and connectivity.
