Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 along with Bhopal and Khajuraho Airports in national survey
Udaipur | July 7, 2025 – Rajasthan’s City of Lakes is flying high — quite literally! Udaipur’s Maharana Pratap Airport (Dabok) has been crowned India’s No. 1 domestic airport in passenger services, according to the latest Customer Satisfaction Index Survey conducted by the Airports Authority.
Scoring a perfect 5.0 out of 5.0, Udaipur tied for the top spot with Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport and Khajuraho Airport in Madhya Pradesh. This prestigious ranking was based on passenger feedback collected from January to June 2025 across 60 domestic airports in India. This biannual survey is conducted for all domestic airports in India.
What Makes It Stand Out?
Rising Traffic, Rising Expectations
Handling more than 1.6 million passengers annually, Udaipur’s airport is on track to become a major regional hub. With a new terminal under construction and a booming influx of domestic and international tourists, especially destination wedding guests, the airport is shaping up as a gateway to global appeal.
While Udaipur rose, nearby Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Kishangarh airports saw their ratings dip in this cycle. International and major airports are assessed separately.
A Win for Tourism and Infrastructure
Udaipur’s recognition is more than just a rating — it reflects the city’s growing global appeal and the successful execution of airport infrastructure and customer service innovation.
So next time you land in Udaipur, you are not just touching down in a beautiful city — you are arriving at India’s “best domestic airport”!
