In September, over 1,24,000 passengers travelled through Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok. According to the latest statistics from the Udaipur airport administration, a total of 1,24,976 passengers flew in September. This is slightly lower than the 1,27,625 passengers who travelled in August.
There was a drop of 2,649 passengers in September compared to the previous month. Despite this, the airport expects the number of air travellers to rise in October with the start of the festival and tourist season.
Slight Increase in Aircraft Movement
In terms of aircraft movement, there was a small increase. The airport recorded 1,210 aircraft movements in September, compared to 1,191 in August. This marks an addition of 19 flights.
The winter schedule, which will be implemented in the last week of October, is expected to further boost the number of flights. Currently, Udaipur Airport operates 17 flights to various cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.
