Udaipur, March 5, 2026 – The new terminal at Udaipur’s Maharana Pratap Airport in Dabok, which is currently under construction, is now expected to be operational by June 2026, ahead of its earlier September 2026 target.
The construction work is progressing at a rapid pace. Built at an estimated cost of Rs 887 crore and spread across 40,000 square metres, the terminal will handle 2,050 passengers at a time. It will include 42 additional check-in counters and 26 security screening counters to reduce waiting time. Parking capacity will increase from 300 to 700 cars.
The new terminal is being developed to meet international standards and will feature Mewar art and culture on its walls. It is expected to boost tourism significantly once international flights commence.
Several parallel development works are also underway, including land allocation for expansion, new aircraft parking bays, taxiways and improved seating arrangements.
