Udaipur is ranked among the Top 5 tourist destinations for tourists travelling within India during these Diwali vacations.  Udaipur is also the preferred tourist destination for tourists coming in to India from abroad.

Apart from Udaipur, the local tourists are having New Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Goa on their travel charts, with other cities viz. Hyderabad, Puducherry, Ooty, Chennai, Lonavala, mritsar, Mysore, Tirupati, Koshi and Bengaluru coming in next.

Foreign nationalities i.e. tourists from USA, France, UK and Germany are also flocking to Udaipur among other cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Agra and Hyderabad.  Other places included Calangute, Bengaluru, Kolkatta and Chennai.
