Special Train Service Between Udaipur and Kolkata Announced for Summer Holidays

In response to increased passenger demand during the summer holidays, Indian Railways has announced the operation of a special train service between Udaipur and Kolkata. This service aims to facilitate travel for passengers during the vacation period.  Additionally, there is an existing Ananya Express train service operating between Udaipur and Kolkata every Monday. However, passengers are advised that waiting lists are currently in effect for this service until the end of June.

Special Train Schedule

The special train will commence its journey from Udaipur every Sunday, starting from May 5 until June 30,2024. Departing from Udaipur City Station at 2:05 PM on Sundays, the train is scheduled to reach Kolkata at 4:00 AM on Tuesdays, completing the journey in 38 hours. The return journey from Kolkata to Udaipur will operate every Tuesday from May 7 to July 2,2024.

Route and Stops

The train will make stops at various stations along the route, including Pratapnagar, Mavli, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Cantt, Shamsabad, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gaya, Koderma, Dhanbad, Asansol, Durgapur, and Bardhaman.

Coach Composition

The train will comprise 20 coaches, including 1 AC First Class, 5 AC Three Tier Economy, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 General, 1 Power Car, and 1 Guard Coach, catering to various passenger preferences and requirements.
