Udaipur-Badi Sadri Bus Service Back After a Decade
After nearly 10 years, the Udaipur-Badi Sadri bus service is back! New buses allotted to Rajasthan Roadways makes this possible; plus an additional AC Deluxe bus now runs on the Udaipur–Jaipur route
Udaipur, April 9, 2026 - Travellers between Udaipur and Badi Sadri are relieved after the resumption of the long-suspended bus service between the two destinations after almost a decade. The first bus between the two cities took off on Wednesday (April 8) much to the joy of passengers.
The Udaipur-Badi Sadri bus service had been discontinued because of a shortage of buses in the Rajasthan Roadways fleet. But now, with the arrival of new buses at the Udaipur depot, the service has been reinstated owing to continued demand for it by people.
The bus will depart from Udaipur at 6:00 am, reaching Badi Sadri via Mangalwad, Boheda and Dungla. On the return journey, it will leave Badi Sadri at 9:30 am for Udaipur. Again it will depart at 2:00 pm for Badi Sadri and leave for Udaipur at 5:00 pm.
Additionally, one more bus from those allotted to the Bhilwara depot has been deployed on the Udaipur–Jaipur route. According to Abhishek Saini, Traffic Manager of Bhilwara depot, the AC Deluxe 2x2 bus will depart Udaipur daily at 9:05 am, reach Chittorgarh at 11:00 am, Bhilwara at 12:55 pm, and Jaipur at 5:30 pm. After an overnight halt, it will depart Jaipur the next morning at 9:00 am and return to Udaipur via Nathdwara by 5:30 pm.
