Udaipur, December 16,2024 - Udaipur is gearing up for the Christmas, New Year, and winter holiday celebrations. Tourists have already started booking their stays, with the tourism industry offering special holiday packages. Hotels are planning themed parties and cake-cutting events for Christmas.

Christmas and New Year Staycation Packages

For Christmas, tourists can enjoy a two-night, three-day stay package. Similarly, a two-night, three-day staycation package is being offered for New Year’s. After the New Year, hotels and resorts in Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh will be fully booked until the first week of January. This will create a 15-day tourism boom, setting new records for the city.

Shilpgram Festival and Holiday Celebrations

The Shilpgram Festival will take place from December 21 to 30. Preparations are in full swing for the event. Christmas will be celebrated on December 25, followed by New Year’s celebrations on December 31. Udaipur witnessed a record number of 2.37 lakh tourists in November, and this figure is expected to exceed 2.50 lakh in December.

New Year Celebration Packages: Rs 35,000/- to Rs 40,000/-

For New Year celebrations, a Rs 12,000/- package per couple is being offered. This includes food, drinks, DJ night, and more. Additionally, New Year staycation packages for December 31 and January 1 range from Rs 35,000/- to Rs 40,000/- in five-star hotels. These packages include food, stay, New Year party, drinks, and other amenities.

Christmas Packages: Free Entry for Kids

Before New Year, Christmas celebrations will be in full swing. Hotels and resorts are offering special packages for December 24. An Rs 8,000/- festival gala dinner package is available for couples, with free entry for children. The package includes Christmas carols, gifts from Santa, food, and other activities. A two-night, three-day stay package is also available, including food, stay, Christmas events, and drinks. These packages, ranging from Rs 28,000/- to Rs 33,000/- for couples, are available from December 24 to 26.
