The Indian Railways is launching special train services between Udaipur City and Dhanbad in connection with the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. These specially designated trains will operate to cater to the increased demand for travel during this major religious event, ensuring convenient and comfortable transportation for pilgrims and travellers. The Udaipur City-Dhanbad-Udaipur City special trains are scheduled to run on specific dates, providing a crucial link between the two cities and halting at key stations along the route.
09609/09610, Udaipur City-Dhanbad-Udaipur City Special Train Service (1 Trip)
Train number 09609, Udaipur City-Dhanbad Special Train Service, will depart from Udaipur City on 19.01.25 at 13:00 hours, arrive at Jaipur station at 20:55 hours, and depart at 21:10 hours, reaching Dhanbad the next day at 21:00 hours.
Similarly, train number 09610, Dhanbad-Udaipur City Special Train Service, will depart from Dhanbad on 20.01.25 at 23:00 hours, arrive at Jaipur station on the third day at 01:30 hours, depart at 01:40 hours, and reach Udaipur City at 09:40 hours.
This train service will halt at Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli, Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Bhabua Road, Sasaram, Dehri On Sone, Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath, and Gomoh stations en route.
The Chief Public Relations Inspector of Ajmer, Ashok Chauhan, informed that this train service will have a total of 19 coaches, including 02 Second AC, 04 Third AC, 09 Sleeper Class, 02 General Class, and 02 Guard coaches.
