Udaipur, January 18, 2025 - On the occasion of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, Indian Railways will provide the following special train services, according to the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, Captain Shashi Kiran:
Train No. 09609/09610, Udaipur City-Dhanbad-Udaipur City Special Train Service (1 trip)
Train No. 09609, Udaipur City-Dhanbad Special Train will depart from Udaipur City on January 19 at 13:00 hours, arriving at Jaipur station at 20:55 hours departing at 21:10 hours, and reaching Dhanbad at 21:00 hours the next day.
Similarly, Train No. 09610, Dhanbad-Udaipur City Special Train will depart from Dhanbad on January 21 at 23:00 hours, arriving at Jaipur at 01:30 hours on the third day, departing at 01:40 hours, and reaching Udaipur City at 09:40 hours.
This train will make the following stops: Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli, Chanderia, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Bhabhua Road, Sasaram, Dehri-on-Son, Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath and Gomoh.
This service will have a total of 24 coaches: 2 Second AC, 5 Third AC, 11 Sleeper Class, 4 General Class, and 2 Guard coaches.
Train No. 09421/09422, Sabarmati-Varanasi-Sabarmati Mela Special Train Service (via Gandhinagar Capital) (3 trips)
Train No. 09421, Sabarmati-Varanasi Mela Special Train will depart from Sabarmati on January 19, 23 and 26 (three trips) at 10:25 hours and will reach Varanasi the next day at 14:45 hours. Similarly, Train No. 09422, Varanasi-Sabarmati Mela Special Train will depart from Varanasi on January 20, 24 and 27 (three trips) at 19:30 hours and will reach Sabarmati the next day at 01:25 hours.
This train will make the following stops: Gandhinagar Capital, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Rani, Marwar Junction, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Fatehpur, Prayagraj and Gyanpur Road.
This service will have a total of 20 coaches: 1 Second AC, 3 Third AC, 12 Sleeper Class, 2 General Class, and 2 Guard coaches.
