Udaipur’s tourist spots gain popularity in "One District One Destination" campaign; tourists can vote for their favorite destinations by visiting the Rajasthan Tourism Department’s website
Udaipur, January 24, 2025 - Udaipur, a popular tourist destination, has once again captured attention in the "One District One Destination" campaign. The campaign, launched by the Rajasthan Tourism Department, features top tourist spots from across the state, aiming to attract more visitors to each district.
Udaipur's Strong Showing
Udaipur's five major tourist spots have been included in the campaign, with the City Palace emerging as the top choice. It received 40% of the votes, making it the most popular destination in the district. Lake Pichola followed closely with 28% of the votes, securing second place.
Other tourist spots in Udaipur, like Sajjangarh Fort, Eklingji Temple, and Saheliyon Ki Bari, also received votes, with 14%, 12%, and 6% respectively. The campaign has already attracted participation from 50 tourists from Udaipur.
Participation Across Rajasthan
The campaign, aimed at promoting Rajasthan’s diverse tourism spots, has seen significant participation. Jaipur leads with 84 votes, showcasing its famous attractions like Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. Salumber, a new district, received 2 votes for Jaisamand Lake, contributing to its growing appeal. In Rajsamand, 7 participants voted for popular spots such as Nathdwara, Dwarkadhish Temple, and Kumbhalgarh Fort.
How to Participate?
Tourists can vote for their favorite destinations by visiting the Rajasthan Tourism Department’s website. After providing basic details like name, number, and email, participants can select their district and vote for their top tourist spots.
