In a recent announcement, visitors to Udaipur's Eco Tourism Points managed by the Forest Department will now be required to pay a nominal fee ranging from Rs. 10 to Rs. 30. This decision comes as part of compliance with the Election Commission's model code of conduct and will be effective from June onwards.

Deputy Forest Conservator Mukesh Saini revealed that a proposal was formulated during a recent Eco Tourism Committee meeting. As per the proposal, entry fees will be set at Rs. 20 for Nagar Van Udhyan and Eklinggarh Fort, and Luv Kush Vatika. However, entry to the Kids Zone will be priced at Rs. 10, while Golden Park entry will be Rs. 20. Additionally, safari rides will be priced at Rs. 30. Students will enjoy discounted rates, with entry fees set at Rs. 10 across all Eco- Tourism Points.

Entry to Luv Kush Vatika will remain free during the morning hours, from 5:00 am to 10:00 am, providing an opportunity for early visitors to enjoy the serene surroundings.

Furthermore, the Banki forest division's jungle safari park is set to introduce all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for visitors. These vehicles, akin to bikes accommodating two passengers, are currently operational in desert areas.
