Tourist Data: Udaipur Saw 1.71 Lakh Visitors in February

Tourism in Udaipur has been setting records since the COVID-19 pandemic

Udaipur, March 10,2025 - In February, 2025, Udaipur welcomed 1.71 lakh (171,766) tourists, marking the third consecutive year where tourist numbers exceeded 1.5 lakh in this month. Compared to January, domestic tourist numbers decreased by 48,300, but foreign tourist arrivals increased by 3,416. With Holi celebrations on March 13-14 and a four-day holiday (March 13-16), tourist numbers are expected to increase by 5-10% compared to last year. Many tourists have already started booking hotels and resorts, especially in the Old City. 

  • February: 1,47,200 domestic and 24,566 visitors/foreigners on tourist/employment/business Visa .

  • January: 1,95,500 domestic and 21,150 foreign tourists. A total of 2,16,650 tourists visited in January.

Udaipur’s Growing Popularity

Tourism in Udaipur has been setting records since the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Deputy Director of Tourism Department, Shikha Saxena events like the World Music Festival, wedding season, and Udaipur’s presence in international rankings have boosted tourist numbers.
