Rajesh Agrawal, Vice President of the Hotel Association, shared that bookings for the period from August 15 to 19, 2024 are filling up quickly. He also noted that inquiries continue to pour in, with expectations that the weekend will be a success for the tourism industry.

Flights and Trains Fully Booked

In addition to local bookings, flights, buses, and trains are also fully booked. The combination of Independence Day on August 15 and Raksha Bandhan on August 19, along with the weekend, has led to a significant increase in travel. Ashok Joshi, a tourism businessman, reported that flights from Udaipur to major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, and Mumbai are fully booked. The same is true for bus and train services. As a result of this high demand, air ticket prices have risen, and the travel industry is preparing for a busy weekend.
