The online travel portal MakeMyTrip has announced its top 28 destinations to visit in August. The list features several cities from Rajasthan, including Udaipur, Mount Abu, Jodhpur, and Jaipur. 

Maharashtra leads the list with five cities, while Tamil Nadu and Kerala each have three cities highlighted. 

Udaipur, known as the Lake City, stands out with its stunning City Palace, which is perched on a hill by the lakeside. This palace is a remarkable combination of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms, and gardens. 

Popular attractions in Udaipur include Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Pichola Lake, Jagmandir, Sajjangarh Palace, Moti Magri, Gulab Bagh Zoo, and Jaisamand Lake. The city’s charm is enhanced in August thanks to the monsoon.

In the rankings, Udaipur is placed 7th, Jodhpur 8th, Mount Abu 26th, and Jaipur 27th. Additionally, Travel and Leisure has recently named Udaipur as the 6th best city to visit during the monsoon this year.
