Udaipur, February 22, 2025 – Rajasthan is among the top five destinations in India to visit in March, as per a report published by the widely-read travel magazine and website Outlook Traveller which describes the State as the land of kings. Additionally, Udaipur has been singled out for special mention as the must-see city in Rajasthan, along with Jaipur and Jaisalmer.

The other top four tourist destinations in India by Outlook Traveller are Munnar in Kerala, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Kaziranga National Park in Assam and Hampi in Karnataka.

Traveller highlights that Udaipur offers a mix of history, culture, landscapes and much more and is considered an ideal city to visit in the early summer months, just before the heat hits.

Udaipur has consistently been in the news for being among the top tourist favourite with its opulent history, palaces and rich culture. Often called the Venice of the East, the city is proud of its sparkling lakes against a backdrop of the Aravali range. The State tourism department is also continuously promoting the city, bringing in well-known influencers from around the world.
