Udaipur Vande Bharat to begin from 24 September; Trial Run on 22 Sept

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag-off 9 Vande Bharat Trains on 24 September and the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express will be one of them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Nine Vande Bharat Express trains on 24 September after which the Udaipur Jaipur Vande Bharat Express will commence its maiden run.

Route Plan

The  Udaipur Vande Bharat will depart from the Udaipur Railway at 7:50am, will stop at Bhilwara (09:45am), Ajmer (11:40am) and reach Jaipur at 01:50pm, which is a 6 hour run. The train on its return journey from Jaipur, will leave the capital at 02:30pm, reach Ajmer at 04:25pm, Bhilwara at 05:55pm and reach Udaipur at 08:40pm.

Route Plan

The Trial Run of the Udaipur Jaipur Vande Bharat will be held on 22 September. This will be the third Vande Bharat Train for Rajasthan. The other two Vande Bharat Trains run between Ajmer - Delhi  Cantonment and Jodhpur - Sabarmati.

Total Vande Bharat In India

The 9 new routes include Udaipur-Jaipur, Ranchi-Howrah, Tirunelveli-Chennai, Patna-Howrah, Hyderabad-Bengaluru, Jamnagar-Ahmedabad, and Vijayawada-Chennai. With this, the total semi high speed Vande Bharat trains operating across India will total to 34, covering 68 routes.  The Northern Zone has the maximum 4 trains, followed by three in the Sothern Zone, 2 each in Western, West Central and North Western Zones and 1 each in South East Central, Eastern, East Coast, South Central, South Eastern, Northeast Frontier, East Central, South Western and North Eastern zone.
