Special train to run from Udaipur to Jammu Tawi

Railway authorities have announced the suspension of construction work at Jalandhar Cantt station, Firozpur Division, Northern Railway. This decision aims to ensure uninterrupted rail traffic along lines 1 and 2, maintaining regular services for passengers.

Train Service Continues

Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, confirmed that due to the construction halt, the Udaipur-Jammu Tawi Special service, train number 04655, will operate as per its schedule. Passengers can expect the service on June 7, 14, and 21, 2024, departing from Udaipur City on every Friday and arriving at Jammu Tawi on every Saturday.

Train Details

The Udaipur-Jammu Tawi Weekly Special train departs from Udaipur City every Friday at 2:05 PM and reaches Jammu Tawi at 3:10 PM on Saturdays. Along its route, the train makes stops at key stations including Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, Bhiwani, Hisar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, and Pathankot Cantt, providing connectivity to passengers across various destinations.

Note: The rail service mentioned in the earlier press release was rescheduled. However, due to its suspension, it will now follow its original timetable.
