Udaipur-Kamakhya Rail Service to be Affected on Jan. 6

Ajmer-Kishanganj train service on certain days to be impacted, too, owing to non-interlocking block work under the Lucknow division of Northern Railway

 
Udaipur train update

Udaipur, December 18, 2024 - Due to remodelling of a working yard at Ayodhya Cantonment railway station on the Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Jafrabad rail section, a non-interlocking block work will be done as a result of which, rail traffic will be affected. This is being done under the Lucknow division of Northern Railway.

According to Captain Shashi Kiran, chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, the following train services will be affected due to the work:

Regulated Train Services (from originating station):

Train No. 19615, Udaipur City-Kamakhya Kavi Guru Express, which will depart from Udaipur City on January 6, 2025, will be regulated for two hours on the North Central Railway/Northern Railway section.

Diverted Train Services (from originating station):

Train No. 15716, Ajmer-Kishanganj Garib Nawaz Express, which will depart from Ajmer on December 19, December 23, December 24, December 26, December 30, December 31, 2024, and January 2 and January 6, 2025, will operate on a diverted route via Barabanki-Gonda-Gorakhpur-Chhapra.
