Starting Monday, July 29, 2024, the Kavi Guru Express train from Udaipur to Kamakhya will run on a changed route.The new route will be via Katihar, Kumedpur, and Mukheria.

The train will depart from Udaipur at 4:05 PM on Monday evening. However, it will no longer stop at Barsoi and Kishanganj stations.

There is no change in the timetable. The train will still reach Kamakhya at the scheduled time. Similarly, the train departing from New Jalpaiguri at 8:25 AM on July 29 will also operate via Mukheria, Kumedpur, and Katihar.

This change has been made due to maintenance work on the Northeast Frontier Railway.
