In light of the upcoming festivals, the railway is launching a special train service from Udaipur City to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This initiative aims to provide convenience to passengers during this festive season.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, train number 09603 will operate from October 2, 2024, to November 13, 2024, for a total of 7 trips. The train will depart from Udaipur City every Wednesday at 1:50 AM and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on Thursdays at 5:50 AM.
Similarly, train number 09604 will run from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Udaipur City. This service will operate from October 3, 2024, to November 14, 2024, also for 7 trips. The train will leave Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on Thursdays at 10:50 AM and reach Udaipur City on Fridays at 1:55 PM.
The special train will make stops at several stations along the route, including Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli, Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Mandal, Bijaynagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Phulera, Ringas, Sikar, Nawalgarh, Jhunjhunu, Chirawa, Surajgarh, Loharu, Sadulpur, Siwan, Hisar, Dhuri, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan Railway Station.
