There is a noticeable surge in passenger numbers on the buses operated by the Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation during this festival season. On Tuesday, 9 November, 2023 the load reached 96%, and it peaked at 97% on Monday. Officials anticipate that the passenger load will hit 100% during the Diwali celebrations.

This increase in travel activity reflects the vibrant atmosphere of the festival, with people making journeys to be with their loved ones or partake in various festivities. The demand for transportation services is likely to remain high as Diwali approaches, underscoring the significance of these communal celebrations. As travelers embark on their journeys, the Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation is gearing up to meet the growing demand and ensure a smooth travel experience for all.

Hemant Sharma, the manager of the Udaipur depot, shared that Udaipur buses usually have a passenger load of around 90%. However, there has been a significant uptick this week, with the passenger load increasing by 6 to 7%. Notably, the Jaipur-Banswara route is experiencing the highest passenger load at the moment. In light of this growing demand, there are strategic plans in place to enhance the bus service on the Jaipur-Banswara route.
