Udaipur Pilgrims Begin Devasthan Tour by Flight from Feb 4
Under the Devasthan Department’s Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, Udaipur passengers will travel by air to Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu
Udaipur, Feb 4, 2026 - Under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme organised by the Devasthan Department, Rajasthan, four passengers from Udaipur will depart on a spiritual tour to the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. They will fly out on Wednesday (February 4) from Jaipur for their destination.
Assistant Commissioner Jatin Gandhi informed that the pilgrimage scheme by flight began on February 1 and will continue until February 12. Each flight will carry 76 pilgrims along with two volunteers. The tour on February 4 will include 72 passengers from Dungarpur district and four from Udaipur.
Passengers were told to report one day prior to the journey at Hotel Mahadev Villa, located at Sindhi Camp in Jaipur, where their documents are to be verified and tickets prepared. Food and overnight accommodation have been arranged at the hotel.
On the day of travel, pilgrims will be taken by AC bus to Delhi in the morning, from where they will fly to Nepal.
During the tour, meals and overnight stay will be provided. Sightseeing will be conducted the following day, followed by an overnight stay. On the third day, passengers will return to India by flight.
