Udaipur, March 13,2025 - Due to the Holi festival, there is a heavy rush of passengers in Roadways buses. Long queues were seen at the ticket counter of the central bus stand in Udaipur on Wednesday, March 12,2025.
The highest passenger load was observed on the Banswara and Dungarpur routes. Long lines were seen at Ticket Counter 1, which continued till late evening. To manage the rush, authorities have decided to operate buses on this route every 15 minutes.
Many students and common people from these districts live in Udaipur. Due to the festival, they are traveling home in large numbers. Similarly, the number of passengers has also increased on routes to Jodhpur, Sirohi, Kota, Jaipur, and Bhilwara. Seeing the crowd, many passengers booked their tickets online.
On the day of Dhulandi, Roadways buses will remain non-operational in the morning. Services will resume in the afternoon, depending on the traffic load. Very few people travel by bus on Holi, so operations are reduced. Buses often run empty on this day. From Saturday onwards, the number of passengers in buses is expected to rise again.
