New Biweekly Udaipur to Chandigarh Train Gets Approval

Udaipur, July 19, 2025 — A new train service between Udaipur and Chandigarh may soon commence in the coming days. The Railways Board has approved a proposal to run a new train between Udaipur and Chandigarh twice a week. However, the exact date of commencement has not yet been decided.

Proposed Schedule

The Udaipur City-Chandigarh Express is proposed to run twice a week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays), departing from Udaipur at 4:05 pm and arriving in Chandigarh at 9:50 am the following day.

Similarly, the Chandigarh-Udaipur City Express is proposed to run twice a week (on Thursdays and Sundays), departing from Chandigarh at 11:20 am and reaching Udaipur at 5:30 am the following day.

Proposed Stops

On its route, the train may halt at the following stations: Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli Junction, Kapasan, Chittaurgarh (Chanderiya), Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Ajmer Junction, Kishangarh, Phulera, Jaipur Junction, Gandhinagar (Jaipur), Dausa, Bandikui Junction, Rajgarh, Alwar, Rewari, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Jind, Narwana, Kaithal, Kurukshetra Junction and Ambala Cantt.
