In a move to improve transportation options for rural residents, Rajasthan Roadways has launched a new 2-by-2 bus service from Udaipur to Semari, with further connectivity to Kherwara via Sarada.

Route and Schedule Details

The bus will depart from Udaipur daily at 6:30 am, passing through key stops including Palodara, Kejad, and Sarada, before reaching Semari by 9:00 am. Afterward, it will continue through Kalyanpur and Kesariyaji, arriving in Kherwara by 12:00 pm. 

Return Journey Timing

For the return trip, the bus leaves Kherwara at 12:30 pm and is expected to reach Udaipur by 6:00 pm, providing convenient travel options for residents.

Benefiting Rural Areas

This new service will be particularly beneficial for people living in rural areas around Udaipur, offering them reliable morning and daytime transportation. Both Sarada and Semari towns fall within the Salumber district, which will now have better access to Udaipur.

Dungarpur Route Plans Modified

Earlier, Rajasthan Roadways planned to extend this route to Dungarpur. However, challenges like narrow, single-lane roads and broken patches in rural areas made it difficult for the bus to complete two trips daily on that route. Therefore, the route was modified to serve the Semari-Kherwara region effectively.
