Udaipur, July 3, 2025 - Under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme 2025 of the Devasthan Department, a special train will depart from Udaipur to Vaishno Devi on July 6. This is part of a larger initiative to provide subsidised or free pilgrimage trips to various religious sites for senior citizens in Rajasthan.
The train will depart from Rana Pratap Nagar at 12:25 pm and travel via Ajmer and Khatipura (Jaipur) to Vaishno Devi, Amritsar and Wagah Border.
A total of 776 passengers will board the train - 140 from Rana Pratap Nagar railway station, 140 from Ajmer railway station and 496 from Khatipura (Jaipur) railway station.
The passengers are being informed to arrive at their respective railway stations on time. Passengers from Udaipur and Rishabhdev divisions under the Assistant Commissioner are instructed to report at Rana Pratap Nagar railway station at 8:00 am on July 6. Passengers from the Ajmer division are to report at Ajmer station at 2:00 pm, and passengers from the Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pali, Kota, Bharatpur and Bikaner divisions are to report at Jaipur station at 4:00 pm.
