Udaipur's tourism industry is experiencing a surge in popularity, even during the off-season. Tourists are now enjoying visiting the city during the summer months as well, leading to a significant increase in the number of visitors compared to previous years. According to data released by the Tourism Department, a total of 122,745 tourists arrived in Udaipur in the month of January. This figure surpasses last year's recorded number of 113,140 tourists. 

According to the data, Udaipur welcomed a total of 120,450 local tourists and 2,295 foreign tourists in the year 2023. In comparison, in the year 2022, there were 11,500 local tourists and 1,640 foreign tourists recorded in the city.
