In 2024, Udaipur welcomed 18,55,300 Indian tourists and 1,55,350 international tourists, totaling an impressive 20,10,650 visitors. The city’s charm continues to captivate both Indian and foreign travelers, solidifying its global appeal.
December alone saw a surge in footfall with 2,79,500 Indian visitors and 19,124 international tourists flocking to Udaipur for Christmas Eve celebrations, New Year festivities, and the iconic Shilpgram festival. Hotels and resorts in the city and its outskirts reported full bookings, highlighting the city’s popularity during the festive season.
Udaipur’s recognition as a premier destination continues to grow. The city has earned titles like “Best Destination to Visit in December,” “Top Destination to Celebrate New Year,” “Festival Tourism City,” “India’s Premier Destination for Weddings”, etc.
With its lakes, heritage sites, and vibrant cultural events, Udaipur remains a magnet for travelers worldwide, promising even greater success in the years to come.
