Udaipur-Bandra train cancelled due to heavy rains

Heavy rains in Mumbai have resulted in the cancellation of trains as a result of which Bandra-Udaipur train 12995 was cancelled on Monday. Train number 12996 leaving for Bandra from Udaipur will not operate on Tuesday. Though the situation would prove to be troublesome for people heading to Mumbai via trains, yet safety reasons call for cancellation.

Also, due to the re-modelling of the yard at Jaipur railway station the route connecting Udaipur and Jaipur and further stations will also be affected for some time. Certain more trains are going to be affected following various reasons. Train 22985 Humsafar Express between Udaipur and Delhi will not operate on 17th and 24th August. 19601 Udaipur-New Jalpaigudi will not operate on 17th and 24th August and 19602 New Jalpaigudi-Udaipur will not operate on 19th and 26th August. Similarly, 09721 Udaipur-Jaipur and 09722 Jaipur-Udaipur have been cancelled from 13th August to 25th August.

Train 19602 New Jalpigudi-Udaipur will take Rewari-Ringus-Phulera route on 12th August and 19710 Kamakhya-Udaipur will take Bharatpur-Kota-Chanderia route. Chetak Express schedule has also been changed. The previous departure time of Chetak Express was 5:15 p.m. but now it will leave at 5 p.m. Udaipur-Bandra will leave at 9:10 p.m. instead of 9:35 p.m.
