Electrification work at Udaipur railway station has been completed. The testing of this electric engine line will be done today. It may be noted that the electrification work was supposed to complete one and half month back, but due to the rocks on this route the work got delayed. Now that the process is complete, the line from Udaipur to Ghosunda will be tested today. Testing was done earlier from Debari to Ghosunda but the rocky area delayed the process of Udaipur route. Railway Safety commissioner is scheduled to be in Udaipur today. He will check the electrification work enroute. After this, he will be testing the track from Udaipur to Ghosunda. Once the electrification is safe and approved, Udaipur will have electric engines running on its tracks.
