Unique Museum to come up at Rajsamand Lake
With the filling up of Rajsamand lake, the administration and state government have also started taking cognisance of the need for its development and beautification. Efforts are now on to establish a visual and sound show to highlight the life episodes of Maharana Raj Singh, the developer of this lake. Visitors will be able to see the depiction in 3-D effects.

Work is also on in full swing on the Rana Raj Singh panorama. It is expected that work on this will be completed by this year end. This work is being carried out under a Rs 1.5 Crore budget set aside for preserving the culture and heritage of Rajasthan.
Repairing work on the palace built along the lake is also going on. 30 artisans from Jaipur are working on the restoration piece. New wooden doors and windows are also being built. The monument will be painted yellow from outside and white from inside. This restoration work will cost around Rs 45 Lakhs.
The museum being built inside the monument will carry life episodes of Rana Raj Singh. The attack by Mughar emperor Aurangzeb during Rana Raja Singh’s reign, Rani Charumati’s protection, protection of Shrinathji and Dwarkadesh sculpures etc will be depicted in form of sculptures and paintings.
