A new update on aviation in Rajasthan points towards new destinations being introduced. There will be almost 6 destinations of Rajasthan which will be connected via air routes.

Directorate for Civil Aviation has given approval to a private company for intra state air service. As per Director Kesari Singh, this private company had proposed these destinations in their letter to the Civil Aviation department. Intra state air services were given a green signal and the company has been asked to commence these new flights as soon as possible. This private company has also been directed to take all the relevant clearance from the concerned departments.

Destinations to be a part of air route are Kota, Kishangarh, Sawai Madhopur which will be connected with Delhi. Barmer, Jaisalmer and Ahmedabad air routes will be connected to Jodhpur. Routes will probably be Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaipur, Delhi-Jaipur-Kota-Delhi, Jodhpur-Ahmedabad-Jodhpur, Delhi-Kishangarh-Delhi, Delhi-Sawai Madhopur-Delhi  and  Jodhpur-Barmer-Jodhpur.
