UAE authorities have announced that fully vaccinated persons holding a valid UAE Resident Visa can now travel to the UAE from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Uganda and Nigeria.
Travellers from the above mentioned 6 countries can now travel to the UAE from 5 August, subject to having a vaccination certificate (both doses) and with at least 14 days having passed since the 2nd dose. This information has been provided by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA). Vaccination rules and permits will however apply. The vaccination needs to be approved by UAE authorities.
However vaccinated and unvaccinated persons from the above mentioned countries, covered in the following categories, will also be allowed to travel into the UAE from 5 August:
Earlier in July, UAE had exempted passengers who are participating in the Expo Dubai 2020 and coming in from India, Pakistan, South Africa, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Congo, Liberia, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Uganda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Zambia.
