Valley Queen Heritage Special Gets Extended Run on Aravalli Route
Valley Queen Heritage Special Train, which attracts tourists to the scenic Aravalli valleys of Rajasthan, will run until March 31, 2027
UdaipurTimes, Oct 2, 2026 - Valley Queen Heritage Special Train, which attracts tourists to the scenic Aravalli valleys of Rajasthan, has received an extension in its operations and will run until March 31, 2027. This information was shared by North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan.
Train Nos. 00961/00962 runs on the metre-gauge line between Marwar Junction and Khamli Ghat and will operate five days a week — Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Train No. 00961, Marwar Junction–Khamli Ghat Valley Queen Heritage Special, will depart from Marwar Junction at 9:45 am and arrive at Phulad Station at 11:00 am. After a 15-minute halt at Phulad, it will depart at 11:15 am and reach Khamli Ghat at 12:45 pm.
Train No. 00962, Khamli Ghat–Marwar Junction Valley Queen Heritage Special, will depart from Khamli Ghat at 2:30 pm and arrive at Phulad Station at 4:00 pm. After a 15-minute halt at Phulad, it will depart at 4:15 pm and reach Marwar Junction at 5:30 pm.
The train will comprise four coaches — one AC Executive coach, two metre-gauge coaches and one power car.
