His shop, Saheli Resturant is located in the prime and busy area of Saheliyon ki Bari and sees a hoard of locals and tourists all year round.  His lemon tea, having that exquisite flavor and pep taste has been the talk of the town for many years now.  Tourists and visitors to his stall go back with memories and do not forget to mention his specialist lemon tea in any blog or travel site they come across.

Prem Puri, born and brought up in Haldighati, used to work in a tea shop in Haldighati and then moved to Udaipur to set up his shop here.  Not only does he serve the routine stuff including delicious samosas, poha and standard tea, his fame has spread due to the home made masala lemon tea that he serves visitors.

He is also philanthropic by nature.  When kids accompany their parents to his stall, he does not fail to give them a free glass of milk.  During the Ganesh festival in the city his milk stall on location is well known.  “There is nothing that brings me more happiness than seeing a smile on a child’s face”…is what Prem Puri says
