Following the footsteps of nations like Kenya, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, Iran has decided to eliminate visa requirements for people from 33 additional countries, including India. Similarly, starting from January 1, 2024, Kenya is also set to remove visa obligations for global visitors. This move is anticipated to boost Kenya's thriving tourism sector, making travel more hassle-free for those seeking to experience wildlife safaris and beach holidays without the need for a visa.
Starting December 1, 2023, tourists from India and China can now enjoy visa-free visits to Malaysia. Under this new regulation, they are permitted to stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days. This adjustment simplifies the travel process for individuals from India and China, eliminating the need for a visa and allowing them to easily explore Malaysia.
Sri Lanka has launched a visa-free entry program for visitors from India and six additional countries, such as China, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand. This initiative is in effect until March 31, 2024, making it more convenient for travelers from these nations to explore Sri Lanka without the need for a visa.
