IRCTC has come up with a special 12-day tour package. Prior to this, IRCTC had also announced ‘Chaar Dhaam yatra’-a pilgrimage package. This latest package will begin on August 29 and end on September 10.

The 11N/12D package will cost 11,340 rupees per adult. The package offered by IRCTC is known as “Bharat Darshan” for which IRCTC will operate “Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train”. The train will cover several destinations including Jaipur, Amritsar, Statue of Unity in Surat-Sujarat, Hyderabad, Nishkalank Mahadev Temple in Bhavnagar, and Ahmedabad.

The package is one of the most affordable, all inclusive packages. The special train will cover all the important tourist places in India. The package can be booked on IRCTC website. IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Centre, Zonal Offices, and Regional Offices can also be visited for booking this special package.

The journey will be covered in sleeper class, sanitization kits and travel insurance will be provided to the passengers. Tourists will have to bear charges like local transportation expenses, entrance fee for monuments, boating charges, and charges of the tourist guide.

Boarding points as informed by IRCTC are Madurai, Salem, Dindigul, Erode, Jolarpettai Karur, Katpadi, MGR Chennai Central, Nellore, Vijayawada. Deboarding points are Vijayawada, Nellore, Perambur, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai.

Passengers must carry their Covid vaccination certificates, negative RT-PCR report (less than 48 hours prior to the journey). Leave Travel Concession will also be issued by IRCTC for the tourists who avail the Bharat Darshan tours (only the Train fare and road transfers will be allowed under the LTC scheme) after completion of the tour.
