A pilgrimage of 1000 devotees will be organized to Hastinapur, Haridwar, Missouri, Rishikesh, Rajgiri, Pawapuri, Kundalpur, Kshatriyakund and Sammed Shikharji by Mahaveer Yuva Manch on October 29, 2012.

In the press conference on Monday, Chief Patron of Mahaveer Yuva Munch, Rajkumar Fattawat said that, in this 13 day journey, devotees will go to the biggest Jain shrine, Sammad Shikharji, by 3 tier train.

Train will be named as Teerthayan and the bogies will be named on the names of different Teerthankars.

Fattawat said, “This is the first time that a super luxury AC train will be taking so many people from Udaipur for pilgrimage. In this journey, we will not only visit the shrines, but also visit the tourist places”.

Organization chief, Kuldeep Lodha said that, this train will be equipped with sound system and best of the caterers. List of hotels arranged for pilgrims will be made known to the travelers 15 days before the date of travel.
