Pranit Mathur, a third class student of St. Paul’s School, Udaipur has been awarded a copyright for development of a new pattern to come up with multiplication tables. He has been awarded a copyright for the same by Delhi office of Ministry of Commerce and Industries.

Pranit Mathur, a third class student of St. Paul’s School, Udaipur has been awarded a copyright for development of a new pattern to come up with multiplication tables. He has been awarded a copyright for the same by Delhi office of Ministry of Commerce and Industries.

Pranit has developed a method wherein he completes a table of any given digit within minutes. Prof George VJ, Principal St. Paul’s School informed that recently Pranit had got with his parents (Rini Mathur-Vikas Mathur) and mathematics teacher Ajay Gupta to meet Prof BL Chaudhari, President RBSE.

Pranit discussed his new technique with Prof Chaudhari. Prof Chaudhari gave him a four numbered digit and Pranit instantaneously came up with its multiplication table.

Impressed, Prof Chaudhari suggested that this technique should be made available to all students. Vikas Mathur informed that the new technique has also been sent to Prime Minister, HRD Office and Education Minister of the State. They will also now send it to CBSE and NCERT.
