At the fall of night, the fireworks filled the purple sky above Gandhi Ground, and the colossal effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarana and Meghnatha were set ablaze. As every year, the festival of Dussehra, which marks the victory of truth over evil, was celebrated today in the city of lakes.

The event was witnessed by a huge crowd along with the Chief Guests Rajni Dangi, Chairperson MCU, Trilok Purbia, Ex MLA and Girija Vyas, MP Chittorgarh. Before burning the effigies, West Zone Cultural Center (WZCC) organized a dance program.

UT wishes everybody a very happy dussehra hoping that rather than just following the rituals on this day, people, and society as a whole, will burn the evil within.
