Ayyappa celebration concludes with a day long event

Today being the concluding day of the celebrations on the occasion of the foundation day of Shree Ayyappa Temple, the ceremonies started way early in the morning.
The end of the three day celebrations for the 30th Prathistha Day Mahotsav and Navgrah Pooja began with the Ganapati Homan at 6 am. This was followed by the Navakam, Neyyabhishekam, Kalabhabhishekam and noon Pooja.

Today being the concluding day of the celebrations on the occasion of the foundation day of Shree Ayyappa Temple, the ceremonies started way early in the morning.

The end of the three day celebrations for the 30th Prathistha Day Mahotsav and Navgrah Pooja began with the Ganapati Homam at 6 am. This was followed by the Navakam, Neyyabhishekam, Kalabhabhishekam and noon Pooja.

The Mahaprasadam for all the devotees will be held after lunch.

In the evening, around 6 PM, the rituals of Dhwaja Avarohan would be done where the ceremonial flag hoisted on the very first day of the event on 21st April will be rolled out. This would be followed by the Maha Aarti, which will be the conclusion of the event.

Yesterday, on 22nd April, Pandit Shri Kannan Namboodiri, Kerala performed Navgrah Pooja in the presence of devotees. There were also the ritualistic events viz. Bhagawati Seva, Bhasmabhishekam and Pushpabhishekam, which were followed by the Maha Aarti.
