Celebrated by the Christian community across the world, as the day of the re-birth of Lord Jesus Christ, the community in Udaipur also witnessed multitudes of joy among the members who gathered at the various churches of the city to participate in the midnight mass as well as the early morning mass.

A large gathering of the community was witnessed today at the Sunrise Service that took place at 5 am at the Shepherd Memorial Church. Devotees, with candles in their hands, took part in a rally that started from the Shepherd Memorial church, went around Chetak Circle and Court Chauraha, and culminated at the Church. The rally was led by the Reverend Emmanuel Damor.
The main service took place today morning at 9 am and Raghuveer Singh Meena, MP, Mumtaz Masih, President of the Rajasthan State Public Grievances Redress Committee, Rajni Dangi, Chairman of the Udaipur Municipal Council conveyed their greetings on the occasion.
Giving the key note address, the Reverend Innocent Nelson of Jaipur said, “It is important to keep the heart and mind as clean as one keeps the body clean. This is possible by praying regularly to the Lord Jesus Christ. The resurrection of the Christ is an example of freedom from Sins.”
