Dr. B.P. Nandwana, Dean, CTAE informed that College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE) has been granted accreditation by NBA for 5 undergraduates programme. The five undergraduate programmes streams are Mechanical, Electric, Mining, Civil and Agricultural Engineering.

The accreditation was received by the University on 28 July 2016. CTAE has been accredited in Tier-I. It may be noted that Tier-I is applicable for IITs, NITS and other such autonomous Institutions. Incidentally, at present only some programs of MNIT Jaipur are accredited in Tier-I in Rajasthan.

National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is the only body responsible for accrediting engineering programs in India. The NBA does this on the basis of faculty strength, infrastructure, teaching-learning practices, students outcomes, research and such other criteria.

NBA accredited programs are automatically recognised internationally under Washington accord. This status will help in recognition of the college at international level and getting grants from government agencies.
