Department of Forest announced a very thrilling and educating eco-visit to Sitamata sanctuary, including visit to Jakham Dam Overflow, on Sunday September 2, 2012. It will be a one day program and its objectives are –

• Exposure to Natural beauty & Eco system of Sitamata Sanctuary and picturesque serenity of overflowing Jakham Dam.
• Motivate people for Nature & environment conservation.
• Promote Eco tourism, nature education and sensitize general public.

All the participants are requested to carry haversack, light snacks, fruits, packed juices, drinking water bottle and other necessary medicines, camera etc. The dress should be easy with trekking/walking shoes. Participants will have to strictly adhere to the schedule. The trip will be organized with a minimum booking of40 persons based on advance payment on first come first served basis.
