The Lord Jagannath statue placed at Shree Jagannathji Temple, Hiran Magri,Sector-7 would be entering his childhood phase from infant-phase and would be riding around the city in procession which is called ‘Rath-Yatra’, on 21^st June,2012 and this would be the 6^th‘Rath-Yatra.

The procession will start from 11.00 in the morning and accompanying Lord Jagannath, will be Subhadraji, Balbhadraji and Sudarshanji in the ‘Yatra,’ on a gold-plated ‘Rath’ (carriage).

The procession would start with placing the idols made of ‘Mahadaru’ (Kashth) same as is being done in Puri,Odissa.  The rituals will begin with the customary ‘Cherapehra’ (brooming) which depicts the ‘cleaning of the soul and body’.

The procession would will go en-route Shree Jagannathji Temple, Sector7; KrishiMandi; Shiva Temple, Sector-11; Patel Circle; Khanjipeer; Rangniwas; Bhatiyaani Chohatta; JagdishChowk and then merge in the main ‘Rath-Yatra’.

The merged ‘Rath-Yatra’ would travel en-route R.M.V and Kailash Colony.  Finally, the procession which started from Sector-7 would again separate and move towards GulabBagh; Udiapol; Tekri; Tekri-Madri Road; Menaria Guest House, Sector-6 and then come back to Shree Jaganathji Temple, Sector-7, HiranMagri.

Dinner on the night of this occasion would be served by Mrs. Maheshwari in the memory of her husband Late E.K. Dora.

The ‘Rath-Yatra’ would be accompanied and the contribution in the same would be done by Narayan Sewa Sansthan, Bajrang Sena, Sindhi Panchayat, Hiran Magri; Maharana Khshtriya Mahasabha; Savina Mitra Mandal, Idana Mata Ka Rath; Krishi Mandi Committee; Panchayat, Krishi Mandi; Machla Magra Development Committee, Menaria Samaj, Dharmotsav Samiti among others.

The procession will also have a display of 15 separate idols.
