Jain Pilgrimage of Sammed Shikhar begins with a splendid see-off given to 960 pilgrims who departed in the special train today afternoon from City Railway Station.

Teerthyaan 2012- the thirteen days pilgrimage organized by Mahaveer Yuva Manch Sansthan, will cover cities of Hastinapur, Haridwar, Hrishikesh, Masoori, Gayaji, Pavapuri, Rajgiri and Sammed Shikhar.

Large number of people gathered at City Station to bid farewell to their relatives and friends and wished them a safe and blessed journey. Melodious tune played by police band gripped the atmosphere of railway station.

The train was flagged-off at 2:01pm by Gulab Chand Kataria, Rajni Dangi and Madhu Mehta. All members of Mahaveer Yuva Manch Sansthan, including Rajkumar Fattwat chief patron, Dilip Surana patron, Tinu Mandawat president and Shyam Nagori former president were present on the occasion.
