A 23 km long journey holding pots containing holy water started this morning from Gangu Kund at Maha Satiya and concluded at Lord Shiva’s temple located at Ubeshwar.

Dressed in the identical attires with red sticks in hand, the devotees known as Kavdiyas and chanting religious slogans, were enthusiasm and affection for their deity.

Hundreds and thousands of devotees gathered early morning at Maha Satiya temple over the bank of the small pond known as Gangu Kund.

All men and women filled their pots with the water of the pond which is considered to be pure and holy and started the journey through many areas of the city on their way to Ubeshwar via Rampura Circle.
